CUNA Mutual Group Applications
The TruStage website contains marketing material and educational content about insurance products underwritten by CMFG Life and other carriers. Consumers in some states may also enroll for accidental death and dismemberment coverage, term life or whole life insurance. The servicing portion of the site allows consumers online access to policy information and the ability to manage profile, beneficiaries, payments etc.
Every year we send our people to THAT Conference and this year at least three of them can take you through a demo of the TruStage website and discuss its architecture – just ask anyone at our booth.
ICAS is a rewrite project for our individual member contract system, which holds policy coverage data mainly for the GAP product. This system is unique in that we are utilizing a microservices approach to benefit from smaller, more independent modules that communicate together using a mid tier – manager or mitigator service.
Good news: there are plenty of people who can take you through a demo of ICAS or talk to you more about its architecture – just ask anyone at our booth.
Benefits For You
This customer-driven website and mobile application helps people manage their retirement funds and adjust as needed. It also allows employers and retirement plan administrators to monitor their retirement plan data on both website and mobile applications.
If you’re interested in learning more about our Benefits for You application, just ask anyone at our booth.
GGY Axis is an actuarial tool used to price CUNA Mutual Group’s life, health and annuity products. It is a perfect fit for the cloud, typically we spin up 50 servers with 20 cores each for a couple of days once a month to do the calculations. We can then spin down the servers and incur no compute charges for the rest of the month. We did a POC late last year and have been in production for several months.
We know what you’re thinking: how can we run an app so efficiently it only requires servers to spin for a couple of days a month? To learn more about GGY Axis and its architecture, just ask anyone at our booth.
Required Renewal Questionnaire
RRQ is a web application that presents the user with a set of questions and pre-filled answers from previous RRQ’s, NCUA data feeds and APEX data. The users are able to update the answers as needed. The completed questionnaire is used by underwriting as part of the renewal process.
RRQ is making the insurance process easier and more affordable for everybody; helping more people achieve financial security. To find out more about its architecture, ask anyone at our booth.
MEMBERS Book of Business
Financial advisors who sell our annuity products need to see their MEMBERS Asset Under Management (AUM) in a single location with a smooth, intuitive experience. This self-service site allows the advisor to get more done in a day, allowing them to help more people get closer to a safe, comfortable retirement.
In 2017 we met Elizabeth Groom at THAT Conference and liked her so much we hired her. This year she’s back and on hand to take you through a MEMBERS Book of Business demo and talk more about its architecture. Ask for her at our booth.
