CUNA Mutual Adds Leadership to Consumer Products
 
MADISON, Wis. – The Consumer Products Team at CUNA Mutual Group has added Matthew Hargrove and Shad McKnight to its leadership ranks as the team positions the business for growth and deepening relationships in the marketplace.
 
Hargrove, the new Vice President of Individual Life and Health Product Management, comes to CUNA Mutual from Boston Scientific, where he was responsible for neurovascular product sales in New England. In his new role, he manages the profit and loss of the portfolio of life insurance and health-related products while driving product group-level strategy and execution.
 
A former officer in the U.S. Army, Hargrove has a bachelor’s degree in economics from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis.
 
McKnight is the new Vice President of Individual Property and Casualty. He is responsible for overall business strategy, product management, execution and financial results for his area. He also manages the 10-year relationship with Liberty Mutual Group, with whom CUNA Mutual partners to bring Auto and Home products to credit union members.
 
A graduate of Montana State University and the Ohio State University, McKnight most recently provided strategic and organizational leadership for Nationwide Insurance for both personal and commercial lines products in the company’s South Central region.
 
Hargrove and McKnight report to Andy Napoli, Senior Vice President of the Consumer Products Group.
