People Helping People is the philosophy upon which the credit union movement is built. The CUNA Mutual Group, as the leading financial services provider to credit unions and their members, is in a unique position to foster and preserve the credit union philosophy. The CUNA Mutual Group Foundation was founded in 1967 to formalize CUNA Mutual’s investment of corporate resources to maintain healthy communities.

The CUNA Mutual Group Foundation Vision is to promote nonprofit agency/program synergy and alignment with special emphasis on serving at-risk youth. We actively seek out local nonprofit funding opportunities that fit this philanthropic strategy. We also partner with our employees to support their volunteer activities and causes.
